A Wine Built for Beast Mode
Kettlebell was born from a simple idea by founder Dan Goettel: what if a Cabernet Sauvignon demanded the same thing as a kettlebell — equal parts strength and balance? Dan wanted something bold, youthful, and unapologetically unique. A wine that showcases powerful, true-to-the-varietal flavors while maintaining beautiful balance. No tricks, no manipulation — just a Cabernet being its rugged, authentic self.
The 2023 vintage is sourced from the Estrella District of Paso Robles — a terroir where warm days ripen grapes to perfection and cool Pacific breezes just 18 miles away preserve natural acidity and balance. The result is a wine the region is renowned for: rich, full-bodied, and undeniably Paso.
Every bottle is CCOF certified organic and produced at a SIP certified winery — two of the industry's most respected sustainability credentials. Even the label was designed for the maverick at heart: a vintage vibe that projects strong personality and dares you to resist taking it home.
"Paso Robles has become the most sought after AVA for Quality and Value. Cabernet lovers have grown to expect full flavored wines with great muscle tone on a refined structure of strength."
— Dan Goettel, Founder

Category-Leading Growth
Paso Robles Cabernet is leading the Cabernet category in growth and affordability. Kettlebell is positioned to capture this momentum with a differentiated brand story and proven consumer appeal.
The Reward Is in the Finish
Dense fruit, rich full middle palate — then a long, satisfying finish. That's the Kettlebell signature. Winemaker's notes: ripe blackberry, hints of vanilla, a dash of spice, and beautifully balanced tannins after 8 months in French and American oak.
